Mae is a partner practicing in the Drayton Valley office. She practices in the firm’s Business Law Group (focusing on small and mid-sized businesses), Real Estate Law Group (residential and commercial developments), Agribusiness Practice Group and Wills and Estates Group.
Mae joined the firm in 2006. She received her B.Sc. (Honours in Botany) graduating with distinction in 1986 from the University of Alberta. She also received her LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 1989 and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1990.
Mae is active in the Legal Education Society of Alberta (LESA) and has lectured frequently on behalf of LESA as well as having served on LESA’s Board of Directors. As a member of the Alberta Bar Association, Mae has also been active in the Law Society of Alberta having served on the Competency Planning Committee, as a member of the Conduct Panel and has lectured for a number of years on professional responsibilities/ethics for the Bar Admission Course.
Mae is a former member of Ducks Unlimited, the Rotary Club of Drayton Valley, the Pembina Crisis Connection Society and Drayton Valley’s Community Scholarship Trust Society.
