Ron is a partner in Duncan & Craig LLP’s Edmonton office. Ron is the head of Duncan & Craig LLP’s Employment Law Practice Group and Construction Law Practice Group. Ron’s primary practice areas are employment & human rights law, construction law and commercial litigation.
Ron has appeared before all levels of Court in Alberta and has conducted hearings before various tribunals and boards including the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal. Ron has authored papers and conducted numerous seminars on various employment law topics including, just cause issues; progressive discipline; the duty to accommodate; employees as fiduciary; and, non-competition and non-solicitation contracts. He also regularly gives guest lectures at the University of Alberta in Techniques in Negotiations.
Ron obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University in 1996 and his LL.B from the University of Alberta in 2000. Ron is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.
