Dave has practiced law in Edmonton since 1980 and in 1987 became a partner in the firm. Dave is the leader of the Real Estate Group at Duncan & Craig and plays an active role in the selection and mentorship of summer and articling students. He has practiced exclusively in the real estate area for the past 20 years with a primary emphasis on real estate land development, real estate joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties, commercial leasing and financing, high rise building construction, new condominium projects and drafting commercial real estate contracts.
Dave’s clients include a national railway company, national bank, a major power producer and power transmission corporation, well known real estate developers and a builder of numerous condominium high rises in Edmonton.
Dave is a member of the Law Society of Edmonton, Edmonton Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association, Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and the Urban Development Institute.
Over the years, Dave has participated in organizing several charity events, and has sat on numerous volunteer boards including the Board of the Windermere Golf & Country Club, the Canadian Progress Club and the Uncles at Large society. He has coached in the Edmonton Minor Hockey Association for twelve years and with the Northern Alberta Selects Hockey Association for five years.
